Things are a lot more relaxed this week, or at least they were till I woke up
this morning and realised I have just a week before moving on. A long time compared
with some of my previous visits, but no time at all in other respects. I’m mindful
now that if I intend to do things before I go then I'd better get on with it.
Actually everything's pretty much under control. There's various "endings"
to think about. Something I'm not good at or fond of. I need to thank and say
farewell to Mohammed, Wahid, Salim and family, Salim's office workers, Kiponda
staff in particular my two cleaners, plus of course all the ZIFF chums I've made
over the past few weeks.
I've not seen the TAZARA tickets yet, but I gather they are on their way to
me. I presently have no appointments in DAR so I think I'm most likely to take
the morning ferry from Zanzibar to DAR.
