It is Sunday evening. I have just had ful at Souq Shuhada with Eleanor and Neil. Now I am on the internet struggling (in some sense) to find for tomorrow's lesson an interesting, short, article on the subject of "the importance of education in rural areas". Honestly! I am only here to promote conversation, the class choose the subjects.

I have done a week or so of teaching now but I am still building confidence and learning the "knack" of preparing lessons. It is so jolly hot all the time it would be so much easier to find a good book and recline for the afternoon (hopefully with a chance of an old-bloke's-kip). I think Ramadan is not helping in as much as there are hardly any eateries or cold-juice bars open during the day, so going out is always a bit arduous.
