After another successful week of break-fast invites it was definitely time for us to play host again. By day 28 the passion for some of Ramadan's traditional dishes was beginning to wane so for the sake of change we did mini pizzas using the large round bread baps they do here, tomatoes and tomato paste, black olives and a feta cheese topping. OK, well maybe it is an acquired taste? Our other breakthrough in culinary delights was potato wedges. Ah, the joys of having a working oven.

I think some of our Sudanese friends were missing their Aswad and Assida but perhaps I am just being too sensitive?
